2. What data we collect

We only process the data you voluntarily provide through the quote request form. We do not collect browsing data or build profiles.

• Required: name and phone number. Without them we cannot reply to you.
• Optional: email address, town, service of interest, approximate area and the message you write.
• Photographs of the home or premises, if you choose to attach them. We recommend that you do not upload images showing identifiable people or data relating to third parties.

3. What we use it for

For a single purpose: to handle your quote request. This involves contacting you, assessing the work you need and passing the request on to the professional who can carry it out.

We do not send commercial communications or newsletters, and we do not share your data for advertising purposes.

4. Legal basis

The processing is based on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)), which you give by ticking the box on the form before sending it. You may withdraw it at any time by writing to info@pintoresdelsur.es, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before its withdrawal.

5. Who receives your data

Professionals who carry out the work

This website operates as a lead generation service: the painting work is carried out by independent professionals operating in the province of Málaga. Your request is passed on to the professional who will handle it, including the data needed for them to contact you and assess the work.

That professional acts as an independent controller of the data they receive, and is responsible for the use they make of it. If you would like to know who your particular request has been passed on to, you can ask us at the contact address given above.

Providers supporting the service

• Resend — sending the email containing your request. Servers in the European Union.
• Hostinger — the server on which this website is hosted. Data centre in the European Union.
• Cloudflare — routing the domain’s incoming email to a real inbox.

All of them act as data processors, with access to the data only in order to provide their service.

6. International transfers

The data controller is a company incorporated in the United States. To the extent that access to the data by the parent company amounts to an international transfer, that transfer is based on your explicit consent under Article 49(1)(a) of the GDPR, having been informed in this policy of the possible risks arising from the absence of an adequacy decision and of additional safeguards.

In practice, the infrastructure that processes your data — the server and the sending of email — is located in the European Union.

7. How long we keep it

We keep your request for 12 months from our last contact with you. After that period it is deleted, unless the request has led to contracted work, in which case the associated data will be kept for the periods required by tax and commercial legislation.

8. Your rights

You may exercise the following rights at any time by writing to info@pintoresdelsur.es, stating which right you wish to exercise and enclosing a document proving your identity:

• Access: to find out what data of yours we process.
• Rectification: to correct any data that is inaccurate.
• Erasure: to ask us to delete it.
• Objection and restriction: to object to the processing or ask us to restrict it.
• Portability: to receive your data in a structured format.
• Withdrawal of consent, at any time.

We will respond within one month at most. If you consider that we have not dealt with your request properly, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).

9. Cookies and audience measurement

This website does not use cookies. We do not install or read anything on your device, there are no social media or advertising tracking pixels, and the fonts are served from our own server. That is why you will not see any cookie consent notice: there is nothing to consent to.

We do measure how many visits each page receives, with an analytics tool (Umami) that we run on our own server. The data never leaves it: it is not shared with Google or any other company, nor is it transferred outside the European Union.

This measurement does not identify you or follow you from one visit to the next. It uses no cookies or persistent identifiers: it records the page viewed, the website you came from, the country and the type of device. Your IP address is used only momentarily to work out the country and is not stored.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR) in knowing which content is useful and whether the website works. As this does not involve information stored on your device, it does not require prior consent under Article 22(2) of Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services (LSSI-CE). You may object by writing to us at the address given in the previous section.

10. Security

The connection to this website is encrypted using HTTPS. We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the data, although no system can guarantee absolute security.

11. Minors

This website is intended for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly request or process data from minors. If we find that we have received data from a minor, we will delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to adapt it to changes in legislation or in the service. The date of the latest revision is shown at the top of the page.
